Stainless Steel High Performance Fin Tube

Our high-fin heat exchange tubes are made by integral extrusion processing without any welding process in full size. The main materials are TP2 pure copper and B10 copper-nickel alloy tubes. The product fin height range is 9.525-12mm, and the length can be processed according to customer needs. The product greatly reduces heat exchanger materials and improves heat transfer performance through high-fin processing. Overall, the fin ratio can be increased by 10-15% compared to ordinary light tubes.

The fins are obtained by roll forming the outer surface of a plain tube. This process results in an increase of strength in the finned sections, whereas the plain ends remain soft.

High finned tubes require materials which can be easily cold worked such as aluminum and copper. Aluminum and aluminum alloys allow up to 15 mm fin height, copper up to 10 mm. Soft annealing of the finned tubes is necessary if they must be suitable for bending and coiling.
