The chemical composition of EN8 includes elements such as carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), and sulfur (S). The carbon content is the most important, usually between 0.36-0.44%. EN8 has good weldability and can be welded by conventional welding methods, such as arc welding, gas welding, etc. EN8 carbon steel bars are widely used in the manufacturing industry, especially where high strength and wear resistance are required.
