AISI/SAE1045 C45 Round Steel Bar
AISI 1045 steel has good weldability, machinability, high strength and impact properties in the normalized or hot rolled condition. This steel has excellent dimensional accuracy, concentricity and straightness to minimize wear in high speed applications. It can be made into turned, ground and polished bars, can be processed asymmetrically and is commonly used to produce gears, shafts, axles, bolts, studs and machine parts.
